Taylor Swift's new album Midnights hit Spotify shortly after its release
Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's new album 'Midnights' has taken the internet by storm. Shortly after the album's release, Swift's Midnights caused the Spotify music streaming platform to crash shortly after its release. Several users around the world have reported that the app is unavailable. An error occurred whenever the user tried to view the song. Midnights is Swift's tenth studio album. The album consists of 14 songs.

Spotify is known to have stopped working for Android and iOS users. Users also reported that the Spotify app stopped working even with a stable internet connection. Users said that when they opened Spotify, they got a "No internet connection" error when all other apps were working fine. Apps like Apple Music don't seem to have this problem.

More than 9,000 users in India have reported issues to Spotify, according to downdetector, a website that monitors outages. Swift fans have been known to overwhelm the music streaming app, causing the app to crash. The album was streaming on other music apps, but Spotify kept the countdown for more than 15 days.

However, neither Spotify nor Taylor Swift spoke publicly about the closure. According to the crash tracking website, the app stopped working about the same time the Swift album was released. The application now works fine for users. Interestingly, this isn't the first time the Swift album has crashed the app. This happened when Swift relaunched 2012 Red at the end of last year.

Spotify posted a tweet on its Twitter account congratulating Swift's successful launch.
